Your firm can't go down. And it can't lose a file.
Technical support for law firms of 2 to 15 attorneys anywhere in the United States. Fully remote, with the confidentiality your practice requires. Available in English and Spanish.
What the 30-minute review covers
Your backups — whether they actually restore, not just whether they run.
Your access controls — who can reach email and case files, and how that’s protected.
Your recovery time — how long the firm would be down after losing access.
Almost nobody knows all three off the top of their head, and that’s completely normal — it’s exactly what the review is for. You get a one-page summary, free, whether or not we ever work together.
When something breaks, who owns it?
Most IT providers are happy to handle the ordinary part — laptops, Microsoft 365, antivirus. Then the case management system goes down and everyone points somewhere else.
- “That's a Microsoft problem.”
- “That's your software vendor, not us.”
- “The network is fine on our end.”
- “Have you tried calling them?”
Meanwhile a paralegal can't open a file and the day is gone. We take the whole ticket — including the calls to your software vendor. You get one number, and it's ours.
How we work
A small firm doesn't need a full-time IT employee. It needs someone tending to things every month, and answering when something breaks.
Monitoring & maintenance
Devices watched, updates applied, antivirus current. You hear from us before you notice the problem.
Backups that restore
Configured, monitored, and test-restored on a schedule. A backup nobody has tested is not a backup.
Access & two-factor
Who can reach what, protected properly. Onboarding and offboarding done the same day.
Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace
Mailboxes, licences, shared drives, email security. The platform your firm already runs on.
Your legal software
Clio, MyCase, NetDocuments and the rest. We take the ticket instead of handing you their phone number.
When something breaks
One number, answered by the person who knows your setup. Same business day, no queue.
Software we work with
Don't see yours? Tell us what you run. If we don't know it yet, we'll learn it before you sign anything — and we'll say so instead of pretending.
Confidentiality
We will see your clients' information. This is how we handle it.
- A signed confidentiality agreement before we access a single file.
- Every access is logged and protected with two-factor. You can request the log at any time.
- The data belongs to the firm. If the engagement ends, we hand it back in full and delete our copies.
- We work to the controls your cyber liability carrier will ask about at renewal: two-factor, verified backups, and a written incident response plan.
ABA Model Rule 1.6, adopted in some form by nearly every state, requires reasonable efforts to protect client information. Our job is to make sure you can show you made them.
Who you’re actually calling
Your IT Contact is a small practice, and that is the point. When you call, you reach the person who set up your systems — not a queue, not a script, not a technician reading your history for the first time.
That also means we are honest about our limits. We take a small number of firms so each one gets real attention, and we say no when we are not the right fit. A provider who takes every client is a provider who will eventually stop answering yours.
We work in English and Spanish, from Miami, for firms anywhere in the country.
Who this is for
We'd rather tell you now than three months into a contract.
A good fit
- Firms of 2 to 15 people, with or without a dedicated office manager
- Everything already in the cloud, or moving there
- Staff who'd rather be helped in Spanish
- Firms whose cyber liability renewal is coming up
Not a fit
- Firms needing someone on site the same day
- Firms needing coverage at 3 AM
- Firms over 25 people with in-house IT already
- Anyone shopping purely on lowest price
Questions we get asked
Straight answers, including the ones that might send you elsewhere.
How much does it cost?
Two parts: a flat monthly fee per seat that covers monitoring, updates, security and backup verification, plus a monthly block of support hours. What you pay depends on how many people work at the firm and what you already have running. We quote after the free review, never before — a number given without looking at your systems is a guess.
We already have someone who handles our IT.
Most firms do. The useful question is not whether someone is handling it, but when anyone last verified that your backups restore and that two-factor is on everywhere. Those two answers take thirty minutes to establish, and we will give them to you whether or not you ever hire us.
Are you local, or is this a call center?
Neither. Your IT Contact LLC is a Florida company based in Miami, and the work is delivered remotely. You always speak with the same person. There is no overseas queue and no ticket routing.
What if we need someone physically in the office?
Then we are not the right provider, and we will tell you that on the first call. Almost everything a small firm needs can be handled remotely, but hardware failures and cabling cannot. We can coordinate a local technician, but we will not pretend we are one.
Will you sign a confidentiality agreement?
Yes, before we access a single file. We will also sign yours if your firm has its own. Every access is logged and protected with two-factor, and you can request that log at any time.
How fast do you respond?
Monday to Friday, 9 to 6 Eastern, with a separate channel for urgent matters. We don’t advertise 24/7 coverage, because most firms your size don’t need it and providers who promise it rarely deliver. What we do promise is that your call is answered by someone who already knows your setup, and that urgent issues get worked the same day.
Start with 30 minutes
Over a video call we review your backups, your access controls, and your basic security. You get a one-page report. Free, with no obligation: if everything is in good shape, we'll tell you so.
Thank you. Your message is in. We'll get back to you the same business day — usually sooner.
